Another rainy and stormy day – 9/6/18

TODAY: Much like yesterday, a few early spotty showers are possible in Southern Colorado. If you aren’t seeing rain this morning, you’ll just notice that mix of cloud cover. Between 12 and 3PM, showers and storms develop over the mountains and try to make their way eastward. A few could trek past the I-25 corridor towards the eastern plains, but much of the active weather will be over the higher terrain and around the foothills. Highs today will be in the 60s and 70s.

TONIGHT: A few showers and storms are possible up until 12-1AM. Otherwise look for mostly cloudy dry skies and lows in the 40s and 50s.

EXTENDED: More showers and storms are likely for your Friday, though coverage is not looking nearly as high. Because of that, highs will be a lot warmer. The weekend looks mostly dry with the exception of a stray shower or storm on Sunday. The nice weather carries over into next week with warm temps in the 80s and low 90s.
