Rain and storms for your Wednesday – 9/5/18

TODAY: We start things out mostly cloudy here in Southern Colorado. Areas of fog will also be seen near the Palmer Divide and the Eastern Plains. A few showers and storms are possible during the morning hours, but best chances for widespread rain and storms move in by the early afternoon. Pockets of heavy rain are possible with these showers and storms as they continue through the evening. Highs today will only be in the 60s and 70s.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy tonight with a few showers and storms. Lows will be in the 40s and 50s.

EXTENDED: More rain and storms are in the forecast for your Thursday with fall-like highs in the 60s and 70s. Moisture sticks around through Friday, although coverage will be far less. By Saturday we are dry and sunny and our highs will be back in the 80s to near 90. Just a stray shower or storm is possible on Sunday, with more sunshine and warmth expected for the first part of the new week.
