More Storms Ahead 9-5-18

REST OF TODAY: Some ongoing showers and storms are continuing east of I-25 with another round developing east of Salida. Storms to our west will move east and fill in along the I-25 corridor through the evening hours. Pockets of heavy rain are possible with these showers and storms. Temps continue in the 50s, 60s and 70s.

TONIGHT: Most storm activity will continue to quiet down overnight. Overcast skies and some areas of fog will again be possible over the Plains and up against the Eastern Mountains. Lows will be in the 40s and 50s.

TOMORROW: More rain and storms are in the forecast for your Thursday with cool temperatures as highs are only in the 60s and 70s again. Most of the storm activity will come through in the afternoon and evening hours. Highest coverage will be along the I-25 corridor before spreading east later in the day.

EXTENDED: Moisture sticks around through Friday, although coverage will be far less. Temps will also be slightly warmer. By Saturday we are dry and sunny and our highs will be back in the 80s to near 90. Just a stray shower or storm is possible on Sunday, with more sunshine and warmth expected for the first part of the new week.
