Another day of storms – 9/4/18
TODAY: We’ll be waking up to mostly cloudy skies in Southern Colorado along with dry conditions. Showers and storms begin to develop around 12PM over the mountain and spread east through the afternoon. This won’t be an all day rain and storm event, but more spotty. Clouds and showers should be enough to keep us cool with highs in the 60s and 70s. The Arkansas River Valley and eastern plains will hit the 80s today.
TONIGHT: Lingering showers and thundershowers are possible tonight. Overnight lows will be in the 40s and 50s.
EXTENDED: The next couple of days bring chances for more widespread rain and storms. Highs will remain in the 60s and 70s, very cool for this time of year. Rain and storm chances are still in the forecast for Friday, although things really look just spotty to isolated. We dry out Saturday into Monday with hot temperatures in the 80s to near 90.
