Cooler with Storms in the days ahead 9-3-18

TONIGHT: Showers and storms in the Southeastern Plains will begin to wrap up shortly after midnight. We are left with mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies and lows in the 40s and 50s.

TOMORROW: Isolated to scattered storms return again tomorrow. This will keep temps cool once again in the 70s and 80s. Mountain cities likely won’t warm out of the 60s. Severe weather isn’t expected although a strong storm or two can’t be ruled out.

EXTENDED: Our stormiest days look to be on Wednesday and Thursday. Numerous showers and thunderstorms will continue through much of the day keeping temperatures well below average. Highs will likely stay in the 60s and 70s in all locations. By Friday only a few isolated storms remain with a drying trend on the way for the weekend. Warmer conditions with very little storm chances continue through the weekend and into next week.
