Thief drives SUV into Colorado Springs business

Colorado Springs police are looking for the person responsible for driving an SUV through a building and stealing several items late Tuesday.

Police say it happened a little after 11 p.m. near N. Powers and S. Carefree. Other reports from a Colorado Springs crime watch group indicate that the same suspect then did the same thing at a Canna Meds dispensary. No information was released about what items were taken.

A surveillance camera caught one of the brazen break-ins, and police are hoping to identify the suspect in the video.

The burglary is still under investigation.
