Pueblo police arrest suspects in pawn shop armed robbery

Pueblo police arrested two men who they believe were involved in an armed robbery.

Gabriel Bencomo Diaz, 19, and 22-year-old Ronnie Jacquez were arrested for a robbery that happened on August 10 at the American Jewelry and Pawn located at 2625 N Elizabeth Street.

Police say Bencomo Diaz and Jacquez were also involved in an attempted robbery at Cash Advance America 20 minutes before allegedly robbing American Jewelry and Pawn.

Bencomo Diaz and Jacquez were arrested on charges of aggravated robbery, menacing, theft and conspiracy.
