Mostly dry with smoky skies – 8/24/18
TODAY: We wake up to sunshine and comfy temps in Southern Colorado this morning. Smoke should drift in from the north, which means we will also be dealing with some haze and moderate air quality. It is going to be a hot one today, with highs climbing to the 80s and 90s, with mid to upper 70s in the mountains. A stray mountain city shower or storm is possible for the mid afternoon, but most places stay dry.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear to partly cloudy with lows in the 50s and 60s.
EXTENDED: Moisture makes a return to the area both Saturday and Sunday, so look for increasing shower and storm chances. Saturday looks like the stormiest of the two days. We will dry out again Monday through Thursday, with highs staying in the 70s, 80s and 90s.
