Warm and Dry Friday 8-23-18

TONIGHT: A few clouds may linger through the overnight but otherwise mostly clear conditions are expected. Smoke will begin to move in from the north overnight allowing for hazy conditions returning tomorrow. Lows drop to the 50s and 60s with 40s in our mountain cities.

TOMORROW: Mostly dry conditions will continue other than a stray shower or storm. Skies are expected to be mostly sunny with a few clouds passing through. Highs may be slightly warmer returning to the 70s and 80s with 90s along the Arkansas River. Hazy skies are possible due to smoke from western wildfires.

EXTENDED: Storm coverage increases again for Saturday and Sunday. Thunderstorms will initially develop off the higher terrain then move eastward onto the plains. Severe weather chances look low through the weekend. Highs stay warm with afternoon temps in the 70s, 80s and 90s. Drier conditions return for much of next week with warm but seasonable temps.
