Couple out of home after crews respond to Colorado Springs fire

The Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to a house fire around 5:30 Tuesday afternoon.

According to officials, everyone inside the home is safe, however, the home did experience multiple roof collapses and two adults were displaced.

The damage done to the building is making it hard for crews to get inside the home in order to determine what exactly caused the blaze. According to the homeowner, a possible lightning strike could be to blame.
