Colorado Springs police investigating shooting near Jet Wing Drive

Colorado Springs police are investigating a shooting involving one of their officers Friday evening in the southeast side of town.

According to authorities on scene, there was an armed robbery of a person at Jet Wing and Morley.

When police made contact with the two people possibly involved, one shot was fired and there was a short foot pursuit.

No one was hurt, but the two men were taken into custody.

A handgun was found.

The area ( MAP ) was shut down as police investigated.
