$11K and 300 marijuana plants seized in El Paso County pot bust
Detectives from the Metro Vice, Narcotics, & Intelligence seized hundreds of marijuana plants and thousands of dollars after investigating four properties in El Paso County earlier this week.
In total approximately 300 marijuana plants, 72 pounds of harvested marijuana were seized and over $11,716 dollars in US currency recovered Thursday night.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office arrested Yordis Rodriguez Martinez, Emil Benitez and Alfredo Gonzalez on marijuana-related charges.
A third property was later searched as a result of this investigation.
No items of evidence were taken from this location.
