Back to school for D-20 was a heck of a time, so here’s the story in rhyme

Elementary students returned Wednesday morning,

Parents dropped off students trying to hide tears forming.

Thursday, the big-kids got their chance to shine,

Along with the Kindergarteners who all did just fine.

A new elementary school opened this year,

Students filling empty halls letting out a big cheer.

Legacy Peak opened it’s door to kindergarten through five,

With a special curriculum helping kids strive.

Project learning courses are designed for each student,

Each child getting a specialized curriculum, interest-prudent.

And courses upon course this school does not lack,

With a Center for Modern Learning attached in the back.

Academy District 20 starting off with a bang,

With the help of parents, teacher, students — the whole gang!
