Storm Chances Continue 8-15-18

TONIGHT: A few showers and storms are possible through the first part of tonight with clearing moving in after. Lows cool to the 50s and 60s in most spots.

TOMORROW: A quiet start to the day is expected with mostly sunny skies. Highs reach the 70s and 80s with lower 90s for the Eastern Plains. By the afternoon, storms begin to develop over the higher terrain. With drier air in place tomorrow, storms will be less numerous with only a few making it east past I-25. Strong storms are also not anticipated tomorrow.

EXTENDED: Storms return for Friday with some strong to severe possible across the Eastern Plains. Saturday will be another stormy day through the afternoon and evening with potentially severe storms. Temps continue to be warm, in the 80s and 90s. Sunday will bring quieter conditions along with cooler temperatures. This lasts into Monday before a stormier trend sets in again.
