Pueblo West home catches fire, four people inside

A home in Pueblo West caught on fire while four people were inside early Tuesday morning. Officers helped get the people out. All four occupants got out safely and are staying with friends.

Both the shed and home were involved. Authorities say the house is inhabitable because of smoke damage. There was no other damage to any other structures.

The fire is completely out. Firefighters had the fire under control within a few minutes of the call.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Firefighters told KRDO the cause of the fire does not look suspicious.
