Marty’s Sunday Morning Forecast – Another Warm, Dry Day – 8/12/18

Today: Mostly sunny this morning, partly cloudy and breezy this afternoon with temperatures hovering pretty close to average with mainly 80s over the plains, 70s for the mountains. We do not expect thunderstorms away from the Continental Divide today.

Tonight: Mostly clear with low temperatures in the 40s and 50s for the mountains, 50s and 60s for the plains. The Perseid meteor shower should peak tonight, and the weather again work out well for sky watchers.

Extended: Monday looks a little warmer with isolated showers and thunderstorms possibly returning to our local mountain areas. A weak cold front should bring storms back to more areas through about Thursday. Right now Wednesday and Thursday look to bring the most widespread showers and thunderstorms to the area. Friday looks drier and very warm.
