Man stabs victim several times, victim found on Pueblo street
Officers were called to Health Solutions on Chinook Lane early Tuesday morning on reports of a man pounding on the door. 33-year-old David Turner was at the door saying he had just killed someone.
Turner said he stabbed a man who had been following him. According to Turner, at some point, the male who was following him and attempted to attack him.
Police located the stabbing victim at the corner of Chinook Lane and Hunter Drive. Richard Trujillo, 33, suffered several stab wounds to his upper body, including his head and back. Trujillo was transported to a hospital and is expected to survive.
Turner was interviewed by officers and later charged with first-degree assault.
