Stormy Pattern Continues 7-25-18

TONIGHT: Ongoing storms this evening will continue tracking southeastward. The threat for strong to severe storms will continue to decrease, although gusty winds and pockets of small hail will still be possible. Heavy rain associated with these thunderstorms may continue to bring isolated areas of flooding. Scattered clouds continue overnight with lows in the 50s and 60s.

TOMORROW: Cooler temperatures return tomorrow thanks to the passing of a cold front. Afternoon highs are expected in the 70s and 80s. The day will start quiet but storms then increase for the afternoon and evening. There will once again be the potential for a few severe storms containing wind and hail. Localized heavy rain will also be possible leading to flash flooding concerns, especially for area burn scars.

EXTENDED: Monsoon moisture will continue on Friday and through the weekend leading to daily afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Occasional severe storms and areas of flooding will remain possible. Temperatures will remain near average through this time. Slightly drier conditions look possible early next week decreasing the rain chances some.
