Man shot in the chest in Colorado Springs

An adult was shot in the chest around 4:15 Tuesday morning. The incident happened at 418 N Spruce Street.

CSPD says they say a male suspect running from the scene. Detectives are on the site.

The victim was taken to UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
