Severe weather tonight – 07/23/18

Tonight: Most of southern Colorado is still under a Flash Flood Watch until midnight. With the heavy rain that some areas experienced earlier, the ground is very saturated, meaning the slightest downpour could cause flash flooding! Overnight, we’ll have mostly cloudy skies. Storms track off to the southeast into early Tuesday morning before drying up altogether. Lows drop to the 50s and 60s.

Tomorrow: Highs will range in the 70s and 80s for the lower elevations with the 60s for the local mountains. The weather tomorrow won’t be as active as what we experienced over the past 24 hours; however, the risk of flash flooding over burn scars will still be present. Storms won’t be as widespread either.

Extended: Temperatures remain near average throughout the rest of the week. Showers and storms will be a possibility each afternoon and evening.
