One person hospitalized after shooting in east Colorado Springs

Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Bennett Avenue late Sunday night due to a shots fired call.

Upon arrival, officers discovered there was a disturbance and several shots were fired. At the same time officers were conducting their investigation, a victim arrived at the hospital with a single gunshot wound.

The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries and has not been identified.

No arrests have been made and there is no threat to the public. The investigation is ongoing.
