Family finds cabin still standing after the Spring Fire

As people return to their home in Forbes Park after the Spring Fire, one family is counting their blessings after their cabin survived.

“This is all burned, this whole area is burned,” Teresa Taylor told KRDO’s Dani Fried as she walked through her backyard. The flames came right up to the house.

“It went right up to the edge of the house, but not more,” Taylor adds.

The Taylor family says they have an ache in their hearts for those families who have not been so fortunate.
