Dont forget these tips with fire weather

According to Stormtracking 13’s Katie Donavan, although we ave more moisture, we are not out of the woods in terms of fire danger.

Each day could be different, but the moisture is not going to get us through the lasting drought we are still dealing with right now.

We also spoke with Lauren Bachmann, a firefighter with the Fountain Fire Department who reminded us that fires can spark just as easily in urban neighborhoods, so remember to ensure you are following all fire bans and make sure embers are completely extinguished before abandoning even your barbecue.

If you do smoke in your car, Lauren also recommends you keep a water bottle handy to extinguish any butts. This way you are not only svaing yourself, but saving your neighbors too.
