2 teens arrested for stealing cars from Fountain

Two teenagers are facing felony auto theft charges after being caught with stolen vehicles by Fountain police Friday morning.

According to a news release, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office got a LOJACK notification about a stolen vehicle, and deputies followed the signal to a house in the 500 block of W. Ohio Ave. in Fountain.

The deputies, along with Fountain police officers, found two vehicles that were stolen from ADESA Auto Auction in Fountain. The vehicles have since been returned to the auction.

Police arrested Brandt Boden, 18, and Jeremy Cimino, 19. They’re both being charged with two counts of aggravated motor vehicle theft.

The investigation is ongoing, Fountain police said.
