Thunderstorms across the Southeast

Today: Tuesday will bring mostly mild conditions with a slight chance of a shower. There is a slight chance of drizzle around 8 am this morning. Clouds clear out after 10 am and more sunshine takes place. The southeastern regions of La Junta, Lamar, and Springfield begin to see some thunderstorms moving out toward the east after 2 pm. The storms grow in severity and don't move over the border into Kansas until 7 pm.

High temperatures will be in the mid-80s, which is still slightly above average for Colorado Springs. For Pueblo, highs will be in the low to mid 90s all week.

Tomorrow: Wednesday and Thursday will be the driest days of the 7-day forecast, with likely no chance to get a shower for Colorado Springs. Temperatures warm up to the high 80s for Colorado Springs and likely turn 90s by the end of the work week.
