Colorado family looking to create a community for disabled adults

When a child is born with, or develops, special needs, their families do everything they can to take care of them. But once the child is old enough, many families want to ensure their young adult can mingle and integrate into society while socializing with peers.

The Mooney family is building a center created specifically for this purpose. They are calling it “Tall Tales Ranch”. It will be located on a piece of property on the Schweiger Ranch in Lone Tree right off I-25.
