420 marijuana plants found at Pueblo West home

Pueblo County deputies raided a large home in Pueblo West and found that the occupants had taken to sleeping in the living room while seven rooms were used to illegally grow marijuana.

Deputies went to the house on S. Walden Circle Friday and found 420 cannabis plants inside, far over the legal limit of 12 plants per household. ( MAP )

Neighbors had reported a strong smell of marijuana coming from the house, leading to the investigation.

But it’s also not the first time the house has been busted for illegally grown marijuana — the house was previously raided back in 2016. Deputies said they don’t believe the same suspects are behind both grow operations.

It’s not clear if anybody was detained after the bust.
