25-year-old dies after I-25 rollover crash in Colorado Springs

Officers responded to a fatal rollover crash on Interstate 25 at Janitell Road early Sunday morning.

Upon arrival, officers found 25-year-old Dylan J. Hale of Colorado Springs ejected from the vehicle. Hale died at the scene.

There were no other people in the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.

After further investigation, it was determined the vehicle was traveling northbound on I-25 when it ran off the left side of the road, causing it to roll over.

It has not been determined if excessive speed and/or drugs and alcohol are factors in the crash.

This is the 21st traffic-related fatality in Colorado Springs this year. At this time last year, there were 14 fatalities.
