Children’s Hospital Colorado in the Springs on track for 2019 opening
Children’s Hospital Colorado began construction on its first intensive pediatric hospital in Colorado Springs one year ago Tuesday.
The hospital will be five stories tall and include eight operating rooms.
It will be the first of its kind in Colorado Springs, saving local families the long trip to Denver for specialized care.
Construction is expected to last into January of 2019, and if all goes to plan, its doors will open to the public in the Spring of 2019.
