3 injured in fire at Colorado Springs apartment complex
Three people have been reported injured after a fire broke out at an apartment complex Monday evening near Platte Ave. and N. Murray Blvd.
The fire happened at the Village at Lionstone Apartments shortly before 6 p.m.
It’s not yet clear how the fire started, but flames crept up the side of one building and tore through multiple apartments. Witnesses reported hearing a loud explosion, and fire officials believe that could have led to the fire.
Multiple families have been displaced because of the fire.
