Police: Marijuana and alcohol believed to be a factor in rollover crash on North Academy

Officers responded to a rollover crash in the area of Meadowland Blvd. and North Academy Blvd. early Monday morning.

Upon arrival, both vehicles involved were rolled over and one of the drivers was trapped. Further investigation revealed a driver was traveling northbound on Academy Blvd. when it struck a vehicle traveling through an intersection on a green light, eastbound on Meadowland Blvd.

One driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. CSPD says they believe alcohol and marijuana was a factor in the crash.
