Quiet Night Ahead 6-7-18
TONIGHT: Storms will end by late evening with skies clearing overnight. Low temperatures drop to the 50s and low 60s by early tomorrow morning.
TOMORROW: Temperatures look to be even warmer with highs back in the 80s and 90s. Triple digits look likely to be reached across parts of the Eastern Plains once again. Skies will be mostly sunny with more clouds by the afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms will again be possible.
EXTENDED: The weekend will still be pretty hot with highs in the 80s, 90s and even some triple digits. A few showers and thunderstorms will still be possible each day during the afternoon and evening. Winds will become a bit stronger increasing fire danger concerns. Temperatures begin too cool off next week as the weather pattern changes. Highs will be about 5 to 10 degrees cooler in most spots through much of next week. Chances for showers and thunderstorms will also increase as a result of this cooler and wetter pattern.
