Mostly sunny and warm – 06/04/18
Today: Buckle up for noticeably warmer temperatures today! It will be sizzling this afternoon with highs in the 80s and 90s for the lower elevations. Temperatures will be between 15-20 degrees warmer compared to what we had Sunday! Lots of sunshine will accompany our warmth. A high pressure weather system will allow for quiet and primarily dry weather. Light winds are expected.
Tonight: Lows drop to the 50s under mostly clear skies. It will be mild overnight.
Extended: Temperatures stay above-average throughout your entire seven day forecast! (Averages in Colorado Springs are in the mid 70s. In Pueblo, average highs range in the low 80s.) A few storms are possible Tuesday and Wednesday, and this will mostly be the case in the eastern plains. This upcoming weekend, we have a slightly better chance for some storms across southern Colorado. While fire danger will be elevated a bit where we don’t see storms this week, we’re not expecting strong or high winds in the short-term forecast.
