Brave Teens Save Child from Drowning
Colorado Springs Police and Fire Depts. were notified of a young child around 5 years of age laying face down in the water at Prospect Lake in Memorial Park. An alert teenager immediately entered the water after observing the drowning and carried the child to shore. The teen’s sister notified 911 and provided CPR reviving the child.
