Police chase stolen FedEx truck on I-25 before crash in Castle Rock
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office had to chase down a man who stole a FedEx truck and fled on Interstate 25 Friday, but it ended with a crash in Castle Rock.
DCSO says the driver crashed the FedEx truck into a tree near Windmill Drive and then fled on foot, but eventually surrendered. (MAP) That area of I-25 is experiencing delays because of the crash.
Ambulances were on scene, but no information has been given on injuries.
It’s not yet clear if the truck was stolen from a FedEx driver or if it was stolen from a lot.
