Colorado Springs police looking for vehicle involved in hit-and-run

The Colorado Springs Police Department is trying to find a vehicle involved in hitting a pedestrian that was standing on the side of Cheyenne Mountain Road.

While investigating the crash that happened on May 7, police determined the victim was standing alongside the 1200 block of East Cheyenne Road when he was struck by a vehicle that was traveling southbound. The man suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

The vehicle is described as a 2009-2012 red Mitsubishi Gallant sedan, with a portion of its right front bumper missing.
