Man killed in Custer Co. crash

A Westcliffe man was killed after rolling his truck in Custer County.

Colorado State Patrol says Jacob Schulze, 30, was driving his truck on Highway 96 around 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, when he went off the road, then rolled the vehicle. Schulze was ejected from the truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers say Schulze was not wearing his seatbelt. Alcohol and speed are being considered as factors in this crash.
