Record Warmth & Fire Danger 5-10-18

TONIGHT: Skies remain partly cloudy to mostly clear overnight. Lows drop to the 40s and 50s by early tomorrow morning.

TOMORROW: Red Flag Warnings are again in place tomorrow as winds will be even stronger. Gusts by the afternoon could reach the 40s and 50s. Highs will be very warm yet again, although may be a few degrees cooler than today. Most places will again reach the 80s and low 90s. Our mountain cities look to stay in the 70s. Besides an isolated storm across the Eastern Plains once again, most areas look to continue to see dry conditions.

EXTENDED: A few chances arrive for the weekend as a storm system draws near. This will bring a slight cool down through the weekend and into next week. Temps cool to the 60s, 70 and 80s. There will be chances for showers and storms through the weekend and next week, but these look to remain more isolated with many areas not seeing rain. The overall trend has been warmer and drier conditions lasting through the weekend. Mother’s Day looks nice with isolated storms possible and highs in the 60s and 70s.
