3 arrested for fatal shooting of 22-year-old in Colorado Springs
Colorado Springs police identified the man who was found shot to death in an apartment last Thursday and said three people have been charged with first-degree murder.
According to the El Paso County Coroner’s Office, it was 22-year-old Dionte Harris who was found dead around 9 p.m. at the Regal Apartments on S. Academy Blvd.
CSPD said two people — 23-year-old Cortez Lee-Read and 24-year-old Lakela Brasfield — were arrested last Friday in Pueblo by the Pueblo Police Department and Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office. Then on Saturday, another man, 22-year-old Austin Boyd, was arrested in Colorado Springs for the crime.
All three were charged with murder. Police didn’t release any additional information that could hint at a motive for the shooting.

Colorado Springs Police are investigating a deadly shooting at an apartment complex.
The shooting happened just after 9:00 p.m. Thursday, at the 100 block of S. Academy Blvd. at the Regal Apartments. When officers arrived, they found a man dead inside an apartment.
CSPD’s Violent Crimes division has taken over the investigation. Detectives are interviewing witnesses to get a better idea what happened.
KRDO talked to residents in the area and they said they didn’t hear anything, but saw a heavy police presence around 4:00 a.m.
