TRAFFIC TRACKER: Pikes Peaks Ave. and Union Blvd. intersection closed through August

The intersection of Pikes Peak Avenue and Union Boulevard is closed from May 4 through August. The closure is due to underground utilities installation.

· Pikes Peak Avenue will be restricted to local access only between Hancock Avenue and Meade Avenue and between Bonfoy Avenue and Printers Parkway

· Union Boulevard will be restricted to local access only between Kiowa Street and the intersection closure and between Memorial Drive and the intersection closure

Detour routes:

· Northbound Union traffic will be diverted along Fountain Boulevard east to Circle Drive

· Westbound Pikes Peak traffic will be diverted along Circle Drive north to Platte Avenue

· Southbound Union traffic will be diverted along Platte Avenue west to Hancock Avenue

· Eastbound Pikes Peak traffic will be diverted along Hancock Avenue south to Fountain Boulevard

Access to Memorial Park will be available from Hancock Avenue, Prospect Lake Drive, South Parkside Drive, Airport Road and from Union Boulevard.
