Harrison School District Two’s superintendent resigns

Harrison School District Two announced the resignation of Superintendent Dr. Andre Spencer Monday morning.

Spencer worked as superintendent for the district for five years. His resignation is effective immediately.

In his resignation letter he stated, “As I believe it is the best time for me to transition as superintendent, I plan to spend more time with my family and work on longstanding educational equity projects, which truly advance teaching and learning opportunities for all scholars, especially learners of color. I wish Harrison School District Two the best.”

Harrison School District Two thanked Dr. Spencer for his service and dedication to the students.
