Dry and partly cloudy – 05/07/18
Today: It will generally be a quiet day across southern Colorado. Highs will reach the 80s for most areas in the lower elevations with the 60s and 70s for the mountains. We’ll have partly to mostly cloudy skies today. There’s a slight chance for isolated showers and storms in the Pikes Peak region, but most of us stay dry.
Tonight: Lows drop to the 40s and 50s. It will be mild overnight. Mostly cloudy skies are expected.
Extended: Mostly sunny skies are on tap for the area Tuesday. We’ll stay dry through Wednesday; however, Thursday offers a few changes. Into this upcoming weekend, we’ll be dealing with scattered storms. It’s still uncertain how widespread or strong these storms could be, but stick with us for the latest in the coming days! Fire danger could be elevated somewhat Thursday and Friday. For the mountains and Teller County, we could be dealing with some rain and snow this weekend. We’ll track it!
