Stormy, warm weather ahead – 5/6/18

TONIGHT: Any isolated showers or storms that developed during the evening will clear out. Overnight lows cool into the 40s and 50s tonight. Some moisture will start to settle in over the area which could promote areas of fog and low clouds for Monday morning.

EXTENDED: Clouds will clear out tomorrow and the afternoon could bring a few more showers and storms. Chances and coverage won’t be very high so look for a mainly dry day with temperatures in the 70s and 80s. 60s will be felt in the mountains. Tuesday and Wednesday look dry and warm before we increase storm chances Thursday evening through the weekend. Right now Friday night, Saturday and Sunday look like our best opportunities all week for good moisture. Rain and thunderstorms are likely for the lower elevations, with a rain snow mix or wet snow for our mountain cities.
