Discovery Canyon signing day
After traveling the long road of competition and recruiting, Friday was a chance for joy, “I’m super excited to go, I can’t wait. Only a couple more days of school left and then after summer track and everything I get to start college track. So I’m so so so excited,” says Lauren Gale. Lauren Gale, one of the most decorated track athletes in Thunder history is onto to Colorado State University.
Another D-C runner will ne doing the same at Arizona State,”I’m excited to compete with a lot of good runners and hopefully by senior year I’ll be putting up some good times,” says Joseph Dicke.
Caleb Groteluschen couldn’t pick one sport, so he’ll be playing both football and baseball at Wheaton College, “I’ve always loved football and baseball and I knew making a decision on one would be hard. I know college will be a step up but I think my coaches and my parents have prepared me for it,” says Groteluschen.
These young men and women all seem well prepared for the next level.
