People in Teller County enjoy the May snow
The May 3rd snow didn’t stop many people from coming out in Woodland Park and Divide to enjoy the beautiful weather.
Law enforcement in Woodland Park told us slick roads caused multiple people slide off Thursday morning.
Brad Shaw with public works in Divide said, “We weren’t expecting it to be so much so quick, but we’re just out hitting the main roads.”
For drivers around Woodland Park, the roads weren’t too bad.
“They didn’t seem too slick at all, they were just kind of wet,” said local resident Steve Sandvig.
But most people seemed to be grateful for an end to the dry spell.
Pam Banta told us, “I’m just thankful for every bit of moisture we are getting right now.”
