Lovely weather today – 04/27/18

Today: Our weather today will be a perfect ten! Incredibly lovely weather is expected for southern Colorado. Temperatures will be comfortable; highs range in the 70s for the lower elevations with the 50s and 60s for the mountains. Lots of sunshine is on tap for the area as well. This will make temperatures feel even more pleasant! We’ll be dry. Thankfully, winds will be light. Our nice weather is due to a ridge of high pressure which is associated with mild conditions.

Tonight: Overnight, temperatures drop to the 30s and 40s under partly cloudy skies.

Extended: A few storms are possible tomorrow afternoon and evening. They’re not expected to be strong; however, lightning and rumbles of thunder are anticipated. While we stay warm the following days, it will be gusty Sunday and Monday with elevated fire danger for some! Into the eastern plains, there could be some severe storms on Sunday. We’ll track it! The middle ot next week looks gusty with areas of storms.
