Colorado Springs resident found severely decomposed in Fountain Creek

The severely decomposed body homicide detectives found in Fountain Creek on April 11 has been identified as 41-year-old Kevin Lee Liggett of Colorado Springs.

The area southeast of Las Vegas Street and Tejon Street where authorities found Liggett, is described as a wooded, marshy area.

The cause of the death is unknown. This investigation is in the early stages.
