Man arrested, charged with murder in Pueblo hit-and-run

Pueblo police say the man wanted in connection with a fatal hit-and-run that happened this past weekend is now in custody.

Rudy Sosa, 29, was arrested Tuesday in Northglenn for a parole violation and was transported to Pueblo.

Sosa is the suspected driver in a crash that left 35-year-old Nathan Espinosa dead Sunday in the 3900 block of Azalea Street.

Sosa is being held in the Pueblo County Detention Center.

A search is underway for the driver who hit and killed a pedestrian in Pueblo.

A man was found in the road in the 3900-block of Azalea Street around 5 a.m. Sunday, the Pueblo Police Department said.

The victim is described as a Hispanic male who is around 35 years old.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a white or light colored 4-door sedan.
