El Paso County Sheriff’s Office investigating a double homicide in Hanover

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double homicide in Hanover near South Peyton Highway.

Officers were dispatched to a home on Hobby Horse Lane early Saturday morning for a welfare checkup and upon arrival found two people dead.

The identity of the individuals has not been released, neighbors told KRDO it was a couple in their 70’s.

T here is no suspect information at this time.
