Wind Alert Level One 4-10-18

TONIGHT: Overnight clouds with increasing winds will keep temps mild tonight. Lows fall to the 30s and 40s.

TOMORROW: A Wind Alert Level One is in effect for Wednesday with widespread Red Flag Warnings in place from 11 AM to 9 PM. West winds will gust between 30-45 mph bringing temps to the 70s and 80s. Skies will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy.

EXTENDED: Even stronger winds arrive on Thursday with a Wind Alert Level 2 in place. Red Flag Warnings will also be in effect again for the entire area. Winds will gust over 50 mph leading to extreme fire danger. Temps will still be warm with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. A strong low pressure system arrives late Thursday into Friday keeping strong winds around. This will also bring significantly cooler temps to Southern Colorado Friday with some scattered rain and snow showers. More accumulating snow is expected for the High Country out of this system on Thursday.
